Nike CTR360 Maestri II (Gold/Black/White)

Starting the trend of what is a Nike and adidas heavy top 10, are the Nike CTR360 Maestri's in the Gold/Black/White colourway. These are a standard CTR360 not the elite version, but we imagine the great Gold colourway tied-in with the 2011 CONCACAF Gold Cup have made these a popular choice, and so far earned the boot 2,542 likes.

Nike CTR360 Maestri II Elite (Red/White/Black)

The Red/White/Black's were the launch colourway for the Nike CTR360 Maestri II football boots, and it's the Elite versions that have been the more popular with boot fans. The CTR360 is one of the newer boot ranges on the market, and it's the second generation that's out-voted the original CTR. A boot that has been popular with the likes of Andres Iniesta and Jack Wilshere.

Nike Mercurial Vapor Superfly II (Black/Orange/Black)

Coming in at number 8, it's our first Nike Mercurial boot...yes that's right there are more in the top 10! Released in December 2010 the Black/Orange Superfly II football boots proved to be more popular than the Vapor versions. They are quite a different looking Superfly with a more subtle colourway, perhaps why to-date they have earned 2,861 likes.

adidas adiPower Predator (Blue/Electricity)

Our first adidas boot makes an entry at number 7, but adidas might be a little disappointed to see their launch colourway of the lightweight adiPower Predator wasn't 'liked' more. A host of star players including Kaka and Nani were used to launch the Blue/Electricity adidas adiPower Predator football boots, however there are two Predators that have been 'liked' even more in our top 10.

adidas adiPower Predator Kinetic SL (Black/Blue)

Breaking through the 3,000 'like' mark is another adidas Predator football boot. And despite no player uptake, it seems enough boot fans have been impressed with the Black/Blue Kinetic SL. The adiPower SL has taken the Predator range into unchartered territory, so perhaps it's been the sheer excitement of being able to share this groundbreaking boot with your friends that has resulted in 3,018 'likes'.

Nike Tiempo Legend IV Elite (Black/White/Orange)

The only leather Nike boot to appear in the top 10 most 'liked' football boots on SoccerBible, is the Elite version of the Black/White/Orange Nike Tiempo Legend IV football boots. There has been a host of players switching into the new Tiempo legends, notably Patrice Evra, Gerard Pique and Ashley Cole, and with over 3,000 'likes' the revolutionary Tiempo which incorporates Flywire has clearly been popular with the soccer gear society.

Nike Mercurial Vapor Superfly III CR Safari (Black/Volt/Dark)

Unsurprisingly, nearing the top of the most 'liked' football boots on SoccerBible and it's time for Cristiano to feature. It may or may not come as a surprise to Safari fans, that the Black/Volt versions were more popular than the original Safari's, out-'liking' them by over 2,000 'likes'.

adidas adiPower Predator (Black/White/Red)

Into the top 3 and it's the most 'liked' adidas football boot on SoccerBible of all time, the Black/White/Red adidas adiPower Predator. It seems the original colourway of the Predator is still the most popular choice, and obviously the adiPower has been helped by being the most recent, but it has still proved to be more popular than any F50 adizero, which is something of a shock!

Nike Mercurial Vapor Superfly III (Plum/Windchill/Volt)

The boot just pipped to top spot is the most recent incarnation of the Nike Mercurial Vapor Superfly's. A lot of excitement was built around the launch of the Superfly III, so when the boots were finally released a lot of fans were keen to show their appreciation and 'like' the boots, and it's the launch Plum/Winchill/Volt colourway that stole the headlines.

Nike Mercurial Vapor Superfly II (Windchill/Obsidian/Blue)

We all know the Mercurial range has a huge following, as does Cristiano Ronaldo, so it doesn't surprise us to see that combination has taken top spot as our most 'liked' football boots ever! We were slightly surprised to see it's the Windchill Superfly II's, which didn't receive a huge amount of on-pitch attention. But you can't argue with the Soccer Gear Society, who have chosen the Windchill Superfly's as their most 'liked' football boots.

The Facebook 'likes' is a true barometer of how popular a football boot actually is, a genuine statistic from the boot fans for the brands to take notice of. But were there any shocks for you, as we counted down the most 'liked' football boots of all time? Have your say online.
