Aaron Ramsey Poses In Team GB Shirt
If you've picked up the latest issue of 442, you'll be familiar with the latest controversial Team GB picture to surface! Wales captain and Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey has followed Welsh team-mate Gareth Bale by posing in the adidas Team GB shirt!
The latest Team GB publicity shot appears despite the Wales FA maintaining a firm stance against any Welsh footballers playing in the nation-combining side of London 2012. Even so, two of the Premierships biggest Welsh stars have voiced an ambition to play for Team GB, and now have the pictures to back it up!
Ramsey's pose in the blue adidas Team GB shirt certainly looks more official than that of Bale's, with the jersey's main design features being far more visible. Ramsey commented: ''If we have the opportunity to play, why not? You're representing Great Britain in the Olympics. I've spoken to Gareth Bale and he's up for it. I think the Welsh are fine with it. It's up to the players.''
The shirt, which celebrates the formation of a GB team for the first time in the Olympics will go on sale in November. Adidas have confirmed that this is not the official Team GB football kit. Share your thoughts online.
