Global Football Boots Spotting - 14/11/11

Your weekly fix of boot-spotting is here! No matter where you were, the adidas F50 adizero miCoach was everywhere to be seen! With international fixtures taking over, there was plenty of action for our boot-spotters to get stuck into. Take a look and the players and boots to make it in this week, along with one surprise spot! Share your thoughts online, on Twitter and on Facebook.

Lionel Messi (Argentina) adidas F50 adizero miCoach

Lionel Messi was back in international action on Friday night wearing his leather adidas F50 adizero miCoach football boots. The Barcelona star couldn't help his side to World Cup qualifying victory as Argentina were held to a 1-1 draw with Bolivia. It was only the second time the Argentine has been kitted out head to toe in the three stripes with his new miCoach football boots!

Phil Jones (England) Puma PowerCat 1.12

Phil Jones made his first competitive performance wearing the new Puma PowerCat 1.12 football boots as England surprised the world champions with a 1-0 home victory at Wembley Stadium. Jones' boots were a perfect match for the England home strip as the Manchester United youngster took up a CDM role for the friendly fixture.

David Silva (Spain) adidas F50 adizero miCoach

David Silva gave us another great kit/boots match-up wearing the leather Black/Warning/Electricityadidas F50 adizero miCoach football boots. The Spaniard lined up alongside David Villa who was also wearing the same secondary colourway of adidas' new speed boots. Interestingly there were no Energy/White/Electricity adizero miCoach boots on show at Wembley.

Robbie Keane (Republic of Ireland) Nike T90 Laser IV

Robbie Keane returned home from Los Angeles to help the Republic of Ireland secure a comfortable 4-0 home win over Estonia. A ruthless Ireland side saw off a nine-man Estonia team to surely help secure a place in next summer's European finals. LA Galaxy striker Robbie Keane was in fine form wearing his personalised Nike T90 Laser IV football boots.

Lukas Podolski (Germany) adidas F50 adizero miCoach

Neither side could be separated at the Olympic Stadium as Germany and Ukraine fought out a thrilling 3-3 draw. Lukas Podolski came of the bench wearing his new adidas F50 adizero miCoach football boots as Germany came from 2 goals behind. The German striker is one of the few high-profile players to choose the synthetic upper over the popular leather alternatives.

Cesc Fabregas (Spain) Puma PowerCat 1.12

Fabregas made an impressive second-half performance for Spain wearing his customised Puma PowerCat 1.12 football boots. The Barcelona stars boots were fitted with a bespoke Puma King sole-plate with rounded studs - a similar feature to his former Nike CTR360 boots which featured a Tiempo sole-plate. Cesc came close on a number of occasions to drawing Spain level.

Fahad al-Ibrahim (Kuwait) Nike Mercurial Superfly CR7 III

The shock of the week came from Kuwait's Fahad al-Ibrahim who was spotted wearing the unreleased Nike Mercurial Superfly CR7 III football boots! Expected to be released very soon, these unique Nike football boots will be the next exclusive release for Cristiano Ronaldo. Fahad al-Ibrahim's boots look the real deal, we just can't figure out how he landed a pair!

Aaron Ramsey (Wales) adidas Predator adiPower

Welsh midfielder Aaron Ramsey was showing off some interesting art-work with his new pair of Black/Warningadidas adiPower Predator football boots as Wales prepared to take on Norway. The Arsenal midfielder and former adiPURE wearer has been in fine form this season, making him one of the adiPower's lead Premier League players. His new boots certainly look the part!

Lucas Barios (Paraguay) Puma v1.11 Football Boots

Lucas Barrios provided us with an interesting spot as he made some unique customisation to his Puma v1.11 football boots. After initially assuming that the Paraguayan was wearing the women's v1.11 edition, upon closer inspection we soon realised that he has painted his green Puma speed boots with white paint! As for why he did it, your guess is as good as ours.

Fares Jumaa (UAE) Nike iD Mercurial Superfly II

The United Arab Emirates' Fares Jumaa was in action during his sides World Cup 2014 qualifying football match against South Korea wearing a unique pair of black/red Nike iD Superfly II football boots. Jumaa's bespoke Nike colourway was a good match for his kit as the United Arab Emirates were defeated 2-0 at the hands of the South Koreans.

Luis Suarez (Uruguay) adidas F50 adizero miCoach

If you score four goals in any match you deserve some recognition, no matter what boots you're wearing! Liverpool and Uruguay striker Luis Suarez was amongst the goals once more as his side eased past a struggling Chile side. Suarez was in scintillating form wearing his new leather adidas F50 adizero miCoach football boots that he won't be changing any time soon!
