Global Football Boots Spotting - 28/11/11

Your weekly fix of SoccerBible boot spotting is here! Our resident Boot Spotters reported back with a real variety of football boots this week, with the best from all four corners of the globe! From Europe to Ecuador, check out the hottest football boots on show. Monday's just wouldn't be the same without it...

Pepe (Real Madrid) Umbro Speciali 92

The Umbro Speciali 92 was on show during the Madrid derby at the Santiago Bernabeu. Real Madrid defender and long-time Umbro player Pepe was spotted giving the anniversary Umbro football boots a run-out as his side overcame Atletico Madrid 4-1 to extend their La Liga lead to six points over rivals Barcelona.

Hernan Barcos (LDU Quito) Nike CTR360 Maestri II

Even the Ecuadorian league doesn't escape our attention here at SoccerBible. A second-half brace from LDU Quito striker Hernan Barcos gave his side a 2-0 win in their Copa Sudamericana semi-final first leg clash with Velez Sarsfield. Barcos found the back of the net twice wearing the rarely seen gold/blackNike CTR360 Maestri II.

Osvaldo (AS Roma) adidas f50 adizero miCoach

Roma's Argentine-born striker Pablo Osvaldo will have more time to work on blacking-out his adizero miCoach boots after being fined and suspended by his club for punching team-mate Erik Lamela in the face after his sides 2-0 defeat to Udinese. We know the lead adizero miCoach colour isn't to everyone's taste, but Osvaldo could have done a better job of concealing his boots!

Mikel Arteta (Arsenal) Puma PowerCat 1.12

Arsenal's new Spanish play-maker Mikel Arteta is doing his best to fill the void left by Cesc Fabregas' departure. So much so that he's now wearing the same footwear as the former Arsenal captain! After a string of performances in the Puma v1.11 SL, Arteta is now playing in the more suited PowerCat 1.12 football boots.

Cristiano Ronaldo (Real Madrid) Nike CR7 Mercurial

Nike have gone to new lengths to ensure their upcoming Vapor VIII meets the requirements of Cristiano Ronaldo! To the untrained eye, Ronaldo is seemingly sporting his latest Nike CR7 Superfly III football boots. Upon closer inspection, you can see that Nike have pulled a sly one out of the bag, kitting out Ronaldo in a disguised pair of Nike Vapor VIII football boots! No fly-wire or carbon fibre in sight!

Miler Bolanos (LDU Quito) Nike Safari CR7 Superfly II

With attention still firmly on the new Nike CR7 Mercurial football boots, LDU Quito midfielder Miler Bolanos reminded us where the CR7 range began, wearing the Nike Safari CR7 Superfly II boots during his side Copa Sudamericana semi-final match-up. For us, these are still the CR7 boots to beat!

Ruben Zadkovich (Newcastle Jets) adidas Copa Mundial

Who knew a simple pair of white laces would look so good on the adidas Copa Mundial! Newcastle Jets midfielder Ruben Sadkovich was one of many A-League players to wear white laces in support of White Ribbon day in Australia, which aims to put the spotlight on violence against women. Paired with the Newcastle away strip, this was colour co-ordination at its best!

Robert Koch (Dynamo Dresden) Lotto Futura 100

The speed boots market really seems to be hotting up at the moment, with a host of brightly coloured boots hitting the pitch from a variety of different brands. Lotto's latest speed silo to take to the pitch is the Lotto Futura 100, whose presence is increasing and not just in Italy, as Robert Koch playing in Germany demonstrated.

Diego Lugano (PSG) adidas adiPure III

The Paris Saint Germain player roster is starting to make for impressive reading, as their new owners continue to assemble and internationally recognisable line-up. One such player includes Uruguayan international captain Diego Lugano, who despite his profile doesn't seem to have a boot contract as we see him in blacked-out adiPure III football boots.

Senad Lulic (Lazio) adidas adiPure SL

Perhaps it's because adidas haven't pushed the SL onto their adiPure wearers, as it would be in direct competition with the leather adizero's, but we haven't seen a large player uptake for the adiPure SL versions. Making this spot of Serie A player Lulic wearing them for Lazio quite rare.

Jonathan Pitroipa (Rennes) adidas F50 adizero

It's a bold statement wearing a gold boot, especially one that was previously designed for and worn by Lionel Messi! Obviously, this doesn't faze Burkina Faso winger Jonathan Pitroipa who was sporting his boots in Ligue 1 this weekend.

Andrea Ranocchia (Inter Milan) Lotto Fuerzapura II 100

It seems Lotto came armed for the 2011/12 season, as they've released a variety of new football boots which have had quite a popular player uptake. These latest Fuerzapura's are being worn by young Italian defender Ranocchia, a leather boot with an eye-catching colour scheme, who has already broken into the national side.

Pirimov Zohir (Uzbekistan) adidas Predator X

A boot that never really made a huge impact at time of release, perhaps as it was overshadowed by the white/maccaw Champions League editions. But we thought the Maccaw version of the Pred X was a boot that had the potential to grow on the boot community, and think it looks particularly good on-pitch.
