With the year heading to a close, we're giving you, the SoccerBible audience, the chance to vote for your football boots of the year. It has been a hard fought twelve months and this years shortlist of nominees are drawn up from the boots that the soccer-loving public have been able to buy throughout 2011.

Control boots are designed for a particular mould of player. The play-maker who runs the show, splitting defences with pin-point passing. This year has been another run-away year for the Nike CTR360 - the current king of the control category. Rivals to the crown have emerged, with the Umbro Geometra, Mizuno Supersonic Wave II and Lotto Fuerzapura II. Have they done enough to earn your vote?
