Jack Wilshere - How will you #makeitcount?

Out of action Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere has become the latest Nike athlete to star in his own #makeitcount video. After quickly emerging as one of Arsenal's key figures, Wilshere vows to make a winning return to football in 2012, pledging to win trophies with his boyhood club.

Launched by Cristiano Ronaldo on Twitter over New Year s Eve, athletes including Rio Ferdinand, Mark Cavendish and Paula Radcliffe have pledged how they plan to make this year count, and are challenging you to do the same under the hashtag #makeitcount.


The 'Make It Count' campaign showcases elite British Nike athletes through black and white action portraits with the athletes' own handwriting bringing to life their personal pledge. The portraits are supported with a series of unique online films exploring each Nike athletes' hunger to achieve their goals in the year ahead.


To action their campaign, Nike are calling on sportsmen and sportswomen around the globe to challenge themselves alongside the world's elite, by using the hashtag #makeitcount. Nike have also eluded to a game changing announcement to be made on 19.1.12, so stay tuned for that one!
