Not long ago, Cristiano Ronaldo and Nike unveiled the much hyped CR7 collection. One particular item that may have been overlooked by football boot fanatics is the Nike Free TR2 Fuse CR7. Nike Free shoes are one of the most comfortable running shoes, and now they've been given a CR7 makeover!
Football superstar Cristiano Ronaldo has earned his fair share of Nike exclusives. His latest release combines the look of the recent CR7 Mercurials with Nike's famous Hyperfuse construction. The new Nike Free TR2 Fuse CR7 shoes take design inspiration from the asymmetrically accented Mercurials, featuring the same unique diagonal lines. 
The popular Nike Free series has gained a strong reputation among sportsmen and sneaker heads, with a number of footballers making them their off-pitch shoe of choice. This shoe features Nike Fuse construction, a ground-breaking process that blends different layers of material to create a nearly seamless one-piece upper. The result: zones of ventilation, durability and stability, right where athletes need them. 
The Nike Free TR2 Fuse CR7 incorporates the comfort of a barefoot fit feel within a composite of mesh and overlays. The shoes have a large overlay that wraps the heel while another covers the outside forefoot for lockdown during quick multidirectional movements. The seam-free, breathable half-innersleeve hugs the foot, helping it to stay in place, while a stability feature at the outsole helps keep the foot from rolling. 
Deep Nike Free-inspired flex grooves along the length and width of the midsole enhance flexibility and articulation throughout the shoe, allowing the foot to easily move in any direction. Wider grooves in the forefoot allow toes to engage more during landings and push-off. The diamond traction pattern of this shoe brings flexible, multidirectional grip to a variety of surfaces. 
As you'd expect with any product that features the 'CR7' label, the Nike Free TR2 Fuse CR7 shoes feature a distinct design. The primarily dark shoe is accented with solar red colour drops throughout, on both the tongue, swoosh and sole of the shoe. Cristiano Ronaldo's new number 7 logo is housed on the tongue while subtle pinstripe lines draw the shoes in line with their Mercurial relations.
