First Ever Customised Cup Final

First Ever Customised Cup Final

Fans will have an opportunity like never before to call the shots at this Sunday s showpiece Carling Cup Final, as real time control is handed to fans to influence what is seen and heard at Wembley.

Thanks to Cup sponsors Carling, fans at Wembley and watching the game live on TV will have real time control over what they see and hear in the stadium. Carling will be giving fans the chance to influence nearly all the off pitch aspects of the final.

Pre-game supporters will be asked to choose the song they'd like to hear when their team lift the trophy, and even put questions to club legends in real time via Facebook. Whilst during the game, control over how Wembley looks will be handed over, with fans choosing which information and messages of support should be displayed on the pitch-side boards, and show on the big screens the player they think is having the best game.

Supporters can interact and help to customise the final by voting through their Facebook page www.facebook.com/Carling. This will be Carling's 9th year of sponsoring the League Cup competition, and they want to ensure fans are always at the heart of the competition, allowing them to get closer to the game and have a say in how it gets produced.

Carling Director of Marketing, Mike Read said: "We've always tried to use the Carling Cup to focus on enhancing the fan experience and for this year s final we ve tried to go further than ever before by giving over control to the fans. This season we have been able to celebrate a huge number of brilliant moments both on and off the pitch and we hope we can contribute to making the final a truly memorable occasion for all the fans.

It's the first final of the English domestic season, and it's between Liverpool and Cardiff City, so let us know your thoughts online, on Twitter and on Facebook.
