The re-configured FG and SG Pro plates deliver the ultimate in performance traction. Twin studs at the back of the Nike Vapor VIII allow for a quick release from the turf and the asymmetric design of the stud configuration delivers an explosive start. Sharper blades have been introduced to the Nike Vapor VIII allowing for game changing acceleration.

Speaking on the new sole-plate and stud configuartion of the Mercurial Vapor VIII, Chris explained; ''The new plate on the Vapor VIII doesn t just look faster. It's been redesigned to give our players the edge. We've gone from four studs to two studs at the back to help the shoe get out of the turf quicker.''
