adidas Predator LZ Football Boots - Drive

The adidas Predator LZ football boots are set to redefine the Predator name with five innovative zones. The first zone of the new breed of Predator has been unveiled as 'First Touch', so now it's time to exclusively reveal the second zone - 'Drive' - designed to take a swing and nail that explosive pass...

One of the most iconic names in football, the Predator series has been at the forefront of Power boot design for nearly two decades. Now we're on the verge of another milestone in the boots history, which will see the adidas Predator LZ combine light-weight, touch, control and of course power.

Over the coming weeks, adidas will be unveiling each lethal zone through a unique reveal campaign which will see their top players take to the field in special edition Predator LZ football boots. Predator athletes including Kaka, Robin Van Persie, Nani and Xavi will be handed distinct pairs of Predator LZ boots each coloured in a way to highlight different zones.

So what do we know about the second zone to be revealed by adidas, and how does 'Drive' deliver power? Well if we take a look at the vamp of the new adidas Predator LZ football boots we see the raised and thicker 3-D shape on the forefoot, following the natural shape of the instep to create a rebound effect for greater distance. It's the second of five distinctive zones that combine to make this one of the most innovative and exciting football boots in the game.

Two zones revealed then, as 'Drive' compliments the forefoot area of the boot already unveiled to master first touch. With rubber zones acting as a cushioning platform on the synthetic upper with the aim of giving immediate ball control. Check out the full unveiling and close-up look at 'First Touch'
