Components Of Class - What Makes A Pantofola d'Oro Football Boot

Pantofola d'Oro boots never need much of an introduction. The Italian brand have stuck to the same trusted formula for producing soccer footwear since the playing days of Jurgen Klinsmann, Fabio Capello and Marco Van Basten.

You've heard the story and seen the boots, but now we can bring you one step closer into the construction of one of football's most iconic shoes. Take a look at how all the pieces of a Pantofola d'Oro football boot come together!

Pantofola d'Oro have stepped up their game in recent years, and boot fans who may not have been aware of the Italian brand a few years ago are now familiar with their leather craftsmanship. Both the Dream and Lazzarini are Pantofola d'Oro's most recognised boots, famed for setting the bar for traditionally produced soccer shoes.

Tradition and history aside, Pantofola d'Oro create leather football boots of real quality and comfort, with the super-soft one-piece leather upper at the heart of the boots design. The boots are made from the softest kangaroo skin and calf leather available and perfectly mould to the shape of your foot for fantastic ball control and feel.

Incredibly, Pantofola d'Oro football boots are hand-made in the same way as they were back in 1886! Tradition follows throughout the boot with the classically constructed outsole coming available in three different stud configurations - a six screw-in stud, a moulded PU stud and a mixed aluminium and moulded PU stud configuration.

The Pantofola d'Oro range of football boots all follow the same principles of stylish design, with the highest levels of performance and craftsmanship. Visually, Pantofola boots are some of the most understated football boots of all time, but with the introduction of new colourways have found a new lease of life in the modern game!

Their use of traditional leather has remained true over the course of Pantofola d'Oro's history. In an effort to embrace the modern market, it's been good to see the Italian brand experiment with injections of colour - whilst previously choices would have been limited to palettes of blacks and browns.

Pantofola d'Oro are ready for another assault on the boot market this year, introducing new colourways and models in time for the European Championships. Are you a fan of the classic Italian football boots? Let us know! Join the conversation online, on Twitter and on Facebook.
