Martinez a Fan of Pele Sports
They're one of the newest brands on the market, and with an iconic name like Pele associated to the brand you can expect good things from Pele Sports football boots. The latest high profile figure to show their support for the innovative footwear is Wigan Athletic's Roberto Martinez.
Roberto Martinez has a reputation for creating teams who play fine passing football, and his Wigan side has already overcome Manchester United, Arsenal and Liverpool this season. A classy midfielder in his day, Martinez knows a thing or two about football boots and he was happy to share with us his opinion on the Pele Sports Trinity 3E football boots.
"It is not just the feel good factor of the design that Pele brings into the footwear, it is about the technology of the new development of the Trinity 3E - that it can make a huge difference in a match game scenario - great product, well done to Pele Sports."
Roberto Martinez was speaking as he and head physiotherapist Richie Evans met with Ezio Margiotta, Pele Sports' knee and ankle specialist who's played an integral role in the development of the Trinity 3E and who has been visiting a number of Premier League clubs recently.
Head Physiotherapist of Wigan Athletic Richie Evans, said the Pele Sports Trinity 3E was "the most natural pair of boots I have ever worn. They make me feel like my foot is in complete unison with the ground". Which is exactly the result Pele Sports are after, having developed a uniquely shaped and configured outsole designed to train your muscles as you play, for injury protection and propulsion performance.
The unique stud geometry of the Pele Sports Trinity 3E is designed to compliment the wearer's natural movement of the foot. Which isn't flat and symmetrical, so the Trinity works in unison with the wearer's pronation and running gait to distribute foot pressures, the configuration also helps to resist rolling over of the ankle. All of which has undergone testing and development at the Biomechanics Laboratory, University of Duisberg-Essen in Germany.
Perhaps due to endorsements we're yet to see a Pele Sports Trinity wearer in the Premier League, but after visiting clubs to showcase their product we might see a pair in the not too distant future. But we'd love to hear from anyone who owns a pair, and from the boots community to share your thoughts and join the conversation online, on Twitter and on Facebook.
