CFC Players Train In Nike Clash Collection

Chelsea players are gearing up for one of the biggest nights of their career. Ahead of jetting off to Germany, members of the first team squad have been giving their new Nike football boots a run out on home soil. Nike have hooked up their Chelsea pro-list with their respective boots from the Nike Clash collection.

Nike look certain to steal the UCL Final bootspotting headlines, after equipping Juan Mata, Michael Essien, Ramires, Oriol Romeu, Raul Merieles and Fernando Torres with the updated Euro colourways. Didier Drogba - the man expected to lead Chelsea's line - could also make his first and only appearance in the Nike Clash Mercurial.

Nike have launched the much-hyped Clash Collection in the battle for on-pitch presence at the European Championships. The individual boots are sparked by specific colour bursts, finished with a white toe upper to create a distinctive yet common theme across the collection. Each chosen colour reflects the expression and playing style of each boot.

With both Champions League finalists donning the three stripes in an all-adidas final, Nike want something to shout about so have brought forward the on-pitch launch for their eye popping boot collection. It's the perfect stage, with hundreds of millions of football fans tuning into the biggest club match of the year at the Allianz Arena.

Chelsea have been hit by injuries and suspensions ahead of the final. Nike players Raul Meireles, Ramires and Branislav Ivanovic are not eligible, leaving Juan Mata, Didier Drogba, Ashley Cole and Fernando Torres as the Nike players likely to feature. On the opposing side, Franck Ribery will fly the Nike flag wearing the White/Red Vapor VIII.
