Nike Clash Collection Football Boots - In Production

Once again we go behind-the-scenes at Montebelluna, the home of Nike's master craftsmen, and where the Nike Clash Collection football boots are in production. Watch as Euro 2012 footwear is created at Nike's elite facility for the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, Wayne Rooney, Andres Iniesta and Gerard Pique...  

A small town 40 miles south-east of Venice, Montebelluna is a town immersed in the art of shoemaking. This is where the world's best players go to get their boots custom-made at Nike's elite facility, on record are the Last's of such players as Ronaldo and Zlatan Ibrahimovic, along with countless Nike endorsed athletes.



For the Euro 2012 tournament, players will be wearing the Nike Clash Collection designed to deliver performance engineering for every style of player. The individual boots are sparked by specific color finished with a white toe upper to create a distinctive yet common theme across the collection.  





Each chosen color reflects the expression and playing style of each boot, with Mercurial Vapor VIII featuring a solar red for explosive speed, CTR360 Maestri II blue glow for the assured midfielder, T90 Laser IV electric green for the deadly striker and Tiempo Legend IV black for effortless and classic style.  





Here we see exclusive footage of the staff at Montebelluna engineering the football boots, using a whole plethora of unique tools and expensive machinery to create the footwear that will be worn on the feet of some of the world's best footballers.



We also hear again from Nike Global Design Director for Football Footwear, Andrew Caine, who emphasizes: The clash of traditional white with very modern and youthful colors will make a really powerful statement on pitch, as the Nike Clash Collection delivers highly engineered boots with a sharp color contrast visual, reflecting the clash of rivalries and competition we will see this summer.
