Top Transfer Targets

Top Transfer Targets

It's silly season in the transfer market, as just about every player gets linked to a new club! But are you happy with your clubs transfer dealings? Imagine if you were given a blank cheque, which players would you add to the team roster? To help you decide we've compiled this summer's top transfer targets...

We've heard just about every rumour this year, from Gonzalo Higuain moving to Tottenham Hotspur or Kaka going on loan at Liverpool! But the beauty of transfer gossip is that sometimes it comes true, if you'd of said at the end of last season Andy Carroll might join West Ham or Robin Van Persie would sign for Manchester United you might have been in dream land, but these now sound like very real transfers.

We all get excited by transfer rumours as they allow us to fantasise over which players could be joining our clubs, in a real-life game of Football Manager. Throughout the summer some names have been mentioned more than others, so below is our Top Transfer Target XI, all players that are speculated to be leaving, but which would you like to see at your club?

As football fans there is always a difference of opinion, do we agree with what the manager is doing? Would you let Andy Carroll go out on loan? Would you pay whatever it takes to sign Van Persie or Hugo Lloris? It's not an easy job, but imagine you held the cheque-book for your club, which players would you be looking to add to the squad?

No football team is perfect, every club needs new players to improve various positions, you just have to look at European Champions Chelsea or Premier League Champions Manchester City, and how they plan to bolster their squads ahead of the 2012/13 season. But our question to you is what players would you sign, and which positions need strengthening?

SoccerBible is a global forum to share your opinions on your favourite football team, we'd love to hear your opinions on your club's transfer activity this summer. Join the conversation online, on Twitter and on Facebook.
