Mikel Arteta Interview - PUMA King

Mikel Arteta Interview - PUMA King

Joining PUMA on set for their latest photo-shoot, we sat down with Mikel Arteta the man who has returned to the 'King'. The Spanish playmaker and technician has experienced many boots, but it seems the PUMA King will always be held in high esteem by Mikel, and he let us know what he thinks of the latest incarnation...

The PUMA King is a forty year old boot silo which still furnishes players at the top of the game. This latest launch, which returns the name to pure 'King' (no XL or Finale monikers here), is quite radically different to what's gone before, but still gains praise from top players and can make the difference to performance on pitch.

It's not the first time we've chatted to Mikel Arteta, and the midfielder was in typically honest form discussing all elements of the new PUMA King, and what he thinks of alternative boots available on the market. Mikel also gave SoccerBible an insight into life at Arsenal after his Barcelona academy upbringing, and in particular focused on technical players Santi Cazorla and Jack Wilshere.

The PUMA King and Arteta have been re-united, whilst for the likes of Yaya Toure and Nikica Jelavic it's a first venture into one of football's most famous boot ranges. You've heard Mikel's opinion, let us know what you think of the new PUMA King and Arsenal's midfield playmaker
