PUMA For Real Presentation Cases
Continuing to celebrate their athletes, PUMA have crafted these special edition presentation cases to display the raw and dirtied footwear worn by their stars. The bad news is these cases have already been allocated to new owners, but not before a visit to one of our photography studios.
PUMA are acquiring an increasingly impressive cast list, as some of the games top players switch into the Formstripe. But not to be accused of under-using their assets, PUMA ran a series of campaigns from the start of the 2012/13 season (in conjunction with SoccerBible), in which fans had the chance to win the actual boots worn on-pitch for some of 2012's memorable football moments.
With a prize of such prestige a standard box just would not suffice, so PUMA had these sleek cases crafted to become the centre-piece in the lucky recipients boot collection. Gathered together before being individually dispatched around the globe, these are the matchday boots of Sergio Aguero, Cesc Fabregas, Yaya Toure, Radamel Falcao, Mikel Arteta, Michael Carrick and Ibrahim Afellay.
These PUMA football boots graced the feet of their wearers for some memorable performances. The stand-out pair in the collection are probably Falcao's, and are the boots he wore as he destroyed Chelsea in the European Super Cup with a hat-trick for Atletico Madrid. Or the boots Cesc Fabregas wore on his return to England as he appeared at Wembley for the Spanish national side. There are also the boots Mikel Arteta wore for Arsenal's victory at Anfield this season, and that Michael Carrick wore for Manchester United's victory at the same venue.
However big or small the occasion, these PUMA For Real presentation cases are the opportunity to look back on a moment in time, with some special football memorabilia. Today they may just be the boots Yaya Toure wore in 2012/13 pre-season and scored against Arsenal, but as the years roll on the iconic value and story-telling factor will make these boots one for the football romantics, and are worthy of their pride of place in a collection.
