Bastian Schweinsteiger In Shock adizero Switch?
Schweinsteiger has had an up and down relationship with the adiPure for some years now. Adidas haven't had the easiest of times with their German international - he wore the two-year-old adiPure III in last seasons UCL final! It seems as though he's a very particular customer when it comes to his boots!
But recent images suggest his head might have been turned by the latest f50 adizero boots, marking an end to his time as an adiPure player. The Bayern Munich midfielder surprised us after he was spotted at Bayern's winter training camp in Qatar wearing the adizero which could signal a change in direction for his boot choice. 
With adidas preparing to add a fourth silo to their boot line-up, our assumption was that adidas would use Schweinsteiger to help front their new range. This might still be the case, but these pictures of the midfielder wearing the leather f50 adizero suggests the Bayern man could begin the second half of the Bundesliga season as an adizero player.

Schweinsteiger's adizero switch isn't the only boot news coming out of Qatar. As we reported last week, Xherdan Shaqiri is using the time to get to grips with his new Nike Mercurial Vapor IX football boots. He was spotted wearing the upcoming Sunset colourway set to be launched later this month.
