"#Nike Done Did It Again" - Eredivisie Player Armenteros Next To Reveal Vapor IX
Following footballers on Instagram can be quite interesting...you only have to look at John Terry's account! If you're one of the 1,637 people who follow Heracles Almelo striker Samuel Armenteros on Instagram then you would have noticed him proudly showing off his new Nike Mercurial Vapor IX football boots.
Chances are you missed it and you've never heard of the guy! But thanks to some SoccerBible users bringing it to our attention, we thought we'd share the latest shot of Nike's new Vapor boots to hit the social web! The official release is just around the corner, but for now Armenteros has brought us closer to the boots than anyone else.
The striker is clearly a fan of Nike football boots but we're still surprised to see him land a pair of Vapor IX boots so early. Most recently he has been wearing the CR Mercurial Vapor VIII in the Dutch Eredivisie. It's usually the case that a relatively unknown player will jump the official on-pitch date, so we'll be keeping our eyes on Armenteros!
Nike will launch two colourways of the Nike Mercurial Vapor IX this month, with the bright orange alternative scheduled to be the lead boot for Nike's high profile Mercurial players. For the famous Mercurial line, it's a return to the bright and bold when it comes to eye-popping colourways and graphics.
