Video Exclusive: Theo Walcott On The Nike Mercurial Vapor IX
Gunners front man Theo Walcott has stepped up to lead the Arsenal attack and is now leading Nike's Mercurial roster following the launch of the Vapor IX. The striker likes his boots - particularly these. "I saw this boot quite a while ago and I've been dying to get in it ever since to be honest. It's just getting better every year."
After we told Theo Nike had now reached their ninth Mercurial Vapor, he couldn't believe it. When you consider Walcott began his Arsenal career wearing the Mercurial Vapor III, you can understand why he was a little surprised. 
"These catch your eyes straight away. The Vapor definitely suits my style and the way I play anyway. The quick players who wear these boots, they entertain people and they perform. If I like this boot that much, to get me out of it will be difficult I'm sure!"

New contract, new position and new footwear; it's all happening for the Arsenal and England forward. Case in point, give the Arsenal striker a new pair of Mercurials and it's not long before he gets them on the score sheet. Walcott marked his first game wearing the Vapor IX with a second half goal for the Gunners as they were defeated 1-2 away to rivals Chelsea.
