Romelu Lukaku Wears Vapor IX In FA Cup Ahead Of Weekend Reveal
West Brom vs QPR: Striker Romelu Lukaku wore the Vapor IX in his sides FA Cup replay
West Brom's Romelu Lukaku last night became the first English-based player to wear the Nike MVIX in competitive action ahead of their expected on-pitch reveal this weekend. The on-loan Chelsea hit-man who recently switched from the T90, took to the Hawthorns wearing the stand-out Sunset colourway.
Lukaku had chances to score wearing his new Vapor IX boots, but ultimately couldn't rescue his side from FA Cup elimination as Harry Redknapp's QPR left the Hawthorns with a hard fought 0-1 win. The Belgium striker who is looking to follow in the footsteps of former Chelsea hero Didier Drogba now has the boots to match!
The 6ft 3in ace has recently revealed his desire to stay at West Brom for another two years. Chelsea splashed £18million on the striker who transferred from Anderlecht. He's been firing for the Baggies this season scoring 9 goals in 19 appearances. If he continues at this rate, he could be a big name for Nike and Chelsea in the future.
The Nike Vapor IX will be released in two colourways later this month. Already we've seen a flurry of Nike professionals take to Twitter and Instagram to showcase pictures of their new footwear. On pitch, the Vapor IX has been gathering pace. One of the first mainstream Nike players to wear them was Bayern Munich front man Xherdan Shaqiri.

After getting to grips with his new boots at Bayern Munich's winter training camp in Qatar, the Swiss international has since been spotted wearing the Sunset Vapor IX during Bayern's friendly fixtures as they prepare for the second half of the Bundesliga.
The Sunset design will be the lead colourway for the launch of the Vapor IX with Nike favourites Theo Walcott, Eden Hazard, Raheem Sterling, Mario Gotze and Xherdan Shaqiri all set to wear the boots from this month. With Arsenal travelling to Chelsea this weekend, we're banking on Nike using the London derby to official launch the Vapor IX on pitch.

It's the perfect weekend for Nike to set the Vapor IX loose on pitch. As well as Chelsea entertaining London rivals Arsenal, Manchester United will travel to Tottenham Hotspur looking to avenge their home defeat to Spurs earlier this season. As the capital prepares for a super Sunday, all eyes will be on Theo Walcott, Aaron Lennon and Eden Hazard!
