adidas Launch Interactive Online Archive

Until now the adidas archive has been a hidden museum of sporting memorabilia and history. But this week, adidas have opened the doors to its all-new interactive online archive -
www.adidas-archive.org. Thousands of products collected throughout the years gathered in one place, waiting to be discovered.

A concpet created by the adidas History Management team due to huge external interest and requests for archived pieces, the website visualises adidas' heritage for everyone. Collaborations with adidas heroes like Stan Smith, Zinedine Zidane or Jeremy Scott, means that the adidas archive presents not only the products themselves, but the people and their experiences behind them.

The archive tells the story of adidas and adidas football through a selection of boots, balls and apparel which have helped shape the game. From Fritz Walter's 1954 boots to Lionel Messi's 2012 f50, the 1978 FIFA World Cup Tango to the 2006 Teamgeist, a USA 1994 home jersey to the 2010 signed South African jersey. Adidas invite you to dive in.

Navigate through the football archive and travel back decades in time to see some of the very first adidas football boots like never before. We've picked out some of our favourite boots for you to have a look at. The adidas Argentina, Achilles, Diamant and Predator Cup - all treasures of the boot world.

What's more, you can watch adidas legend Zinedine Zidane as he opens the adidas vault to give you his thoughts on some of the most iconic adidas boot models ever made, including a selection of football boots worn by the Real Madrid legend.

There are 49 archive exhibitions currently featured throughout the adidas online archive, with a further 830 objects to be added. If we could suggest visiting just one website today, this would be it! Check it out at www.adidas-archive.org
