Up Close: Beckham's New PSG Preds In Action

David Beckham made his first full debut for PSG last night in the season's third Classique Cup fixture between Paris St-Germain and Marseille. Just two games into his latest career move and the former England captain has wasted little time in giving his adidas football boot collection a due update.

With a little help from his soon Brooklyn, Beckham has custom designed a PSG-inspired Predator LZ, bespoke with all the signature Becks personalisation. His new boots were in the thick of the action last night, as Beckham delivered an 86-minute long masterclass in experienced distribution from the base of midfield.

Beckham's new boots were decorated in embroidery, including the names of his three sons and daughter, the number 32 and his 'DB' initials stylishly stitched onto the heel. Media-savvy Becks even found room for his adopted country's French flag on the left boot and the English flag on the right.

It took 25 minutes for Beckham's compatriot Joey Barton to register a crunching tackle on his fellow Englishman before resorting to new methods of mind games against Ibrahimovic. Barton kindly reminded the Swede that he's packing a rather large nose.

Even with is over sized schnozzle, Zlatan's two goals on the night decided the game which ended 2-0 to PSG who progress to the quarter-finals of the French Cup. Beckham's enjoying a strong start to his PSG career. If only they could play Barton's side every week! Anyway, let us know what you think of Beckham's classy new boots!
