Shinji Kagawa (Manchester United) adidas f50 adizero

If the new blue/white/pink f50 adizero colourway needed putting on the map, Manchester United midfielder Shinji Kagawa did just that. The Japanese international netted his first hat trick for the Red Devils wearing his leather boots as the Premier League leaders brushed aside Norwich 4-0 at Old Trafford.

Osama Malik (Brisbane Roar) Nike Super Ligera 3

The Nike Super Ligera isn't a boot we see too often nowadays, being a Asia/Oceania exclusive. Brisbane Roar defender Osama Malik gave us a rare glimpse of the Super Ligera 3 at the weekend when his side took on Adelaide United. The boots are a close relation to the Tiempo silo but designed on an Asian-specific footwear last, making them wider than the average football boot.

Conor Sammon (Derby) adidas f50 adizero Messi

While we were all watching Lionel Messi to see if he'd debut his new boots against Real Madrid, nobody was keeping an eye on Connor Sammon! The Derby striker has already landed his own pair of Messi's signature adizero boots and used his sides Championship fixture with Crystal Palace to give the boots their debut in English football!

Steven Pienaar (Everton) Puma evoSPEED Custom

Certainly no upcoming colourway but instead some rather convincing black-marker treatment from Everton's Steven Pienaar. The South African obviously isnt' a fan of the recently released Red/White/Blue evoSPEED colourway as he blacked-out the majority of the boots red upper. The only giveaway is in the heel area! Nearly fooled us Steven!

Innocent Emeghara (Siena) Nike Vapor IX adidas f50 adizero

The joys of being a free agent! Wearing two different boot models in a match - we're not sure it's a trend that will catch on anyway. Siena striker Innocent Emeghara was spotted wearing a bizarre Vapor/adizero combination this past weekend when his side took on Atalanta in a Serie A fixture. We've seen odd colourways before, but we think this is a first. One synthetic and on leather boot on each foot - whatever works for him I suppose!

Marco Borriello (Genoa) Nike Mercurial Vapor VIII

After a recent spell in the f50 adizero towards the end of 2012, Marco Borriello has returned to wearing the Mercurial, opting for a blacked-out version of the Vapor VIII. Despite being a long-term Nike wearer, he's quite a particular customer when it comes to his footwear and has an interesting boot history, having worn Italian brand Akuna before.

Benoit Assou-Ekotto (Tottenham) Under Armour Spine Blur III

Tottenham full-back Benoit Assou-Ekotto likes to have some fun with his football boots. Now with Under Armour as one of the brand's lead ambassadors, the defender is commanding some exclusive colourways! His latest are these super-stylish gold Spine Blur III boots which he wore for Tottenham's Premier League derby fixture with North London rivals Arsenal. We'd love to see UA release these to the public.

Lionel Messi (Barcelona) adidas f50 adizero

Messi still remains in the yellow launch edition of the recent adizero, despite his bespoke footwear having been revealed since February 20th. You'd think two encounters against Real Madrid would be the perfect platform to debut a new boot, however in hindsight, it's maybe better adidas and Messi have waited for the Champions League match against AC Milan.

Thierry Henry (New York Red Bulls) PUMA King

Thierry Henry kicked-off his MLS season wearing the latest incarnation of the PUMA King. It was only since making the move to MLS, that Henry's been wearing the King as PUMA still see mileage in the endorsed athlete. Surprisingly though, Henry was not wearing the latest colour combination which is arguably a better match for the NYRB kit.

Nicola Belmonte (Siena) miadidas adidas F50 adizero

Nicola Belmonte broke out his miadidas F50's last week, revealing a clean white/blue/red combination in contrast to the launch yellow editions. A recent convert to adidas and the F50 range, Belmonte was up until Christmas sporting a pair of Nike Tiempo's.
