England Nike Kit Photoshoot - Behind The Scenes

The FA.com take us behind the scenes of the photo shoot for the new England Nike home shirt to be worn against Republic of Ireland at Wembley for the first time. Stevie G knocking over the set, Ben Foster launching balls at the camera crew and Daniel Sturridge's moves...

Some of the Three Lions were roped in for the shoot to show off their new Nike kit and had to perform the usual air kicks and celebration shots. With the form Danny Welbeck is in he was delighted to get the chance to celebrate a goal, he's counting it too so that's 3 for the season (including training FIFA 13).

Jay Bothroyd couldn't make it, nor could David Nugent and Michael Ricketts so Leon Osman got a late invite along with fans' favourite Jimbo Milner. The hair make-up team applied the finishing touches to Leighton Baines' tremendously retro barnet while The Ox creepily stared out the camera.

Good to see the players dishing out the banter and having a laugh ahead of their friendly double header with Ireland Brazil and we have to admit the new home shirt is starting to grow on us.

Both the new England Home and Away shirts are available now from selected retailers including prodirectsoccer.com. Starting to grow on you too yet? Join the conversation on Twitter and Facebook.
