Global Football Boots Spotting - 06/05/13

Time for your weekley round-up of the best football boots in action from across the world. SoccerBible boot-spotting brings you the ultimate selection of new, cutsom and classic boots making headlines from the English Premier League and beyond. See whose footwear has us talking today!

Sergio Aguero (Manchester City) PUMA evoSPEED CAMO

This weekend belonged to PUMA as the new evoSPEED CAMO made their debut on-pitch appearance. Headline evoSPEED athlete and Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero was selected as one of two players to wear the limited edition speed boots. The Argentine wore the boots in his sides goalless draw with Swansea City, and was seen sporting a pair custom fitted with a mixed sole-plate - a feature PUMA could bring to the next-gen evoSPEED.

Radamel Falcao (Atletico Madrid) PUMA evoSPEED CAMO

It wasn't PUMA's dream debut for the evoSPEED CAMO. Atletico Madrid striker Radamel Falcao was involved in another goalless draw with Deportivo as he gave his new boots their first taste of La Liga action. Falcao has shot the evoSPEED to new goal scoring heights this season and there's strong speculation linking him with a summer move to the EPL. Unlike Aguero, the Colombian's boots were fitted with the standard FG sole-plate, but with the studs coloured white instead of pink.

Tom Ince (Blackpool) Unknown

Rising star and former Liverpool youngster Tom Ince made an interesting boot switch this past weekend. The Blackpool midfielder who most recently has been wearing the f50 adizero after switching from the Mercurial series, was spotted in a black-out prototype boot, speculated to be a new Warrior Sports model. With a potential move back to Warrior sponsored Liverpool on the cards, have the American sports company captured the talented Englishman?

Rudnei (FC Alania Vladikavkaz) Nike GS

The Nike GS was one of the hottest boots of 2012 and it's always great to see them in action. FC Alania Vladikavkaz midfielder Rudnei da Rosa gave us a look at his limited edition Nike concept boots as his side took on Russian rivals Zenit St. Petersburg. Despite the hope of some fans, it doesn't look like Nike will continue the GS model for 2013.

Josh Wright (Millwall) adidas f50 adizero

Millwall midfielder Josh Wright is one of the few professional players known to wear the Silver/Blacl/Blue f50 adizero. Unlike Nike, adidas are known for releasing more colourways that don't receive any on-pitch support. This silver colourway was released as a leather exclusive and surprisingly hasn't attracted the support of many professional players, despite being one of our favourite releases!

Hugo Rodallega (Fulham) Nike CR Mercurial Vapor IX

Renowned boot fanatic Hugo Rodallega became the first Premier League player to wear the Nike CR Mercurial Vapor IX as his side took on Reading at Craven Cottage. The Colombian is a boot-spotting regular, known for having a vast collection of custom Nike football boots. It might have taken him a few weeks, but the Fulham midfielder has finally gotten his feet into a pair of Cristiano Ronaldo's latest signature design.

Jack Hunt (Huddersfield Town) adidas f50 adizero Messi

From one signature boot to another. Huddersfield Town defender Jack Hunt was spotted wearing Lionel Messi's adidas f50 adizero football boots as his side took on Championship rivals Barnsley. Hunt has worn both the adizero and Predator models in the past, but is closing out the season as one of the few professional English players wearing Messi's signature f50 boot.

Lukas Podolski (Arsenal) miadidas f50 adizero

After speaking to adidas about Podolksi's latest miadidas boots, we discovered that they were in fact designed and purchased without any involvement from his sponsors - the guy just loves new boots! For Arsenal's London derby match against QPR, Podolski packed his custom f50s that he'd previously only worn in training. The German is certainly building up quite a collection of adizero boots. Hopefully it wont be too long before we see the unreleased colourway he was spotted wearing last week.

Christian Eriksen (Ajax) Nike Mercurial Vapor IX

After uploading a picture to Instagram of himself wearing the recently released Nike R9 Mercurial - click here to see it - it was a little disappointing to see in-demand Ajax midfielder Christian Eriksen wear the Neptune Mercurial Vapor IX as Ajax thrashed Willem II Tilburg 5-0 and were crowned Dutch Eredivisie league champions.
