Acknowledged by Borussia Dortmund boss Jurgen Klopp as the best keeper in the game, Weidenfeller earned many plaudits throughout the previous campaign, particularly in the Champions League where he caught the greatest number of crosses and prevented the most one-on-ones en route to the final.
Borussia may have lost the final 2-1, but nobody can blame the German shot-stopper. Throughout the match he made quality save after quality save and really proved his worth to the millions watching. He and his opposite number Manuel Neuer, stole the show with their game of "anything you can save, I can save better" but we reckon Weidenfeller won, denying Robben's first half strike with his face!
The PUMA PowerCat 1.12 Protect - Weidenfeller's glove of choice - is a top level competition glove with a 4mm Ultimate grip latex palm. The twin wrap thumb maximises latex to ball contact and the anatomically spread tooling follows the hands natural shape and contour for total comfort.
All you need to do is follow us on Twitter and RT our competition tweet above, and we'll give the gloves to one lucky SoccerBible follower come 5pm tomorrow. The competition is open to all entrants worldwide. Make sure you're following @SoccerBible for the latest news and competitions.
