Global Football Boots Spotting - 10/06/13

Global Football Boots Spotting - 10/06/13

We're still clinging on to the end of the football season and where there's games, there's boots. New colourways taking to the pitch, custom colour combos, oh and it wouldn't be summer without England getting dumped out of an International tournament. Time to slap you all square in the face with a fresh dosage of boots spotting, brace yourselves...

Mario Balotelli (Italy) Nike Hypervenom

Same old Mario? The Italian saw red wearing his Nike HyperVenom football boots as his side took on the Czech Republic the other day. The second yellow might have been harsh, but Balotelli was caught exiting down the tunnel in a rage, taking his frustrations out on the wall several times. Nike will be hoping the striker keeps up his mad antics while maintaining his impressive form for AC Milan next season.

Stephan El Shaarawy (Italy) Nike Mercurial Vapor IX

They're arguably the strongest Mercurial V9 colourway so far from Nike, and one look at Stephan El Shaarawy tells you why. The Volt/Black/Citrus colourway is unmissable and perfect for the summer season. The AC Milan striker was spotted training in the boots while on international duty. Unfortunately the boots didn't make it on pitch for Italy's WC qualifier against the Czech Republic.

Thomas Ince (England) Warrior Sports Prototype

Warrior Sports continue to make movements with their football boot offerings and if Tom Ince's boots are anything to go by, there are some interesting months ahead for the American brand. The name of the boots are unknown, but they're expected to be a control boot targeted towards creative midfielders. Ince's prototype boots feature a distinctive instep design that certainly has us intrigued.

Maya Yoshida (Japan) Mizuno Wave Ignitus 3

Southampton defender Maya Yoshida gave the Bolt/Black/Blue/Red Mizuno Wave Ignitus 3 football boots their first competitive outing as Japan booked their place in the 2014 World Cup. Mizuno duo Yoshida Honda were both in action wearing the recently released Ignitus 3 in both launch colourways. Expect these boots to hang around for a while now before Mizuno fancy topping up their Ignitus catalogue again.

Sergio Canales (Spain) adidas Predator LZ

A player who was once considered to be one of the brightest talents in Spanish football, Sergio Canales bowed out of the U21 European Championship after tearing a leg muscle in Spain's match against Russia. Prior to that, the Valencia midfielder was enjoying an impressive tournament wearing the new Predator LZ. He's expected to make a return ahead of the new La Liga season - good news for adidas and Valencia.

Adrian Mariappa (Jamaica) Nike Mercurial Vapor IX CR

Born in England, playing for Jamaica, wearing a Portuguese players American boot who plays in Spain, oh and his dad's Fijian. Reading's Adrian Mariappa was on International duty this weekend as his side went down 2-1 at home to the USA in a World Cup Qualifier. Mariappa was sporting a pair of CR Mercs, pretty flash for a centre half.

Tomas Hubschman (Czech Republic) adidas Predator absolute DB

From what we can see Czech Republic's Tomas Hubschman has been wearing these adidas Predator absolutes since 2008. Whether, he bought loads of them or he's been rockin' the same pair for 5 years is anyone's guess. This colourway was the signature David Beckham boot so maybe Hubschman just loves Becks, who doesn't? The elastic tongue, great memories, would love to see adidas bring that bad boy back.

Jack Robinson (England) Nike CTR360 Maestri III

Young Liverpool defender Jack Robinson has given his Citrus CTR's the blackout treatment to create a decent looking pair of boots. Robinson featured for England U21's against Italy but was subsequently dropped for Saturday's defeat to Norway which saw England's chances of qualification crushed.

Yasuhito Endo (Japan) Umbro Geometra Pro II

Japan are the first country to book their place in Brazil for the 2014 World Cup. For Japan's most capped player Yasuhito Endo he'll be playing in his fourth World Cup if selected. The veteran midfielder was wearing a pair of white-out Umbro Geometra Pro II's as Japan's booked their flight to Rio with a 1-1 draw against Australia.

Henri Lansbury (England) adidas Predator LZ Custom

Henri Lansbury is becoming a bit of a regular in boots spotting, the boy loves a custom Predator colourway. Lansbury has been back on miadidas to invert his red/white Preds to a white/red combo for England U21's rather short European Championship campaign. He's yet to feature for Stuart Pearce's side but now that they're out he might get a chance to give his custom Preds a run out in the last group game against Israel.
