Nike Incyte Ball | Official 2013/14 EPL, Serie A and La Liga Match Ball
Nike have rolled out the official matchball to be used in the Premier League, La Liga and Serie A for the 2013/14 season. The Incyte takes over from the Maxim and is being dubbed by Nike as the world's best ball - the latest in football technology...
Nike have combined years of football innovation, premium materials and rigid scientific testing to deliver the new Incyte. The ball is designed to create a quicker reaction from players, Nike's RaDaR technology uses scientifically proven colour combinations and patterns to enhance visibility.
The Incyte is created with 5-layer construction, which generates optimal first touch for immediate and precise ball control and the high elasticity response layer helps provide an easy and more powerful strike. The micro-textured casing also delivers a more accurate ball trajectory than seen before - if you catch this puppy right, it's going to fly. 
The Premier League ball is delivered with purple graphics whereas the Serie A ball and La Liga balls feature turquoise and royal blue respectively with all three donning a vibrant orange swoosh. As always the balls are FIFA approved and the league's logo is placed on the side of each ball.
The Maxim hit the back of the net on 1063 occasions last season so the Incyte has a pretty big target to reach. New boots have landed, new kits have been unveiled and now we've even got a ball. Game on. Roll on the new season.
