We take a look back at some of our favourite presentation cases.
Now and again at SoccerBible HQ a package arrives that can create quite a stir. We've cunningly figured out the difference between a parcel that contains boots and one that contains a presentation case (they're generally a lot heavier) and there is always aniticipation on what the brand has come up with next. For not much more than bragging rights and appreciation of cool design we take a look at a few of our favourite presentation cases from around the office.
Rarely available for the public to purchase and nearly always limited to an exclusive number, presentation cases are generally used to create a bit more hype around a brands latest release. As with all things in Football, and in sport as a whole, there is a healthy rivalry between adidas and Nike when it comes too cool case design but lets not forget PUMA either who regularly drop a stylish home for their newest boots. 
Nike T90 Laser IV Briefing Case - Never one for conventional methods of boot presentation, Nike delivered a one-off brief case to showcase its T90 Laser IV. While looking like a piece of military surplus equipment, the case housed Nike's explosive Laser IV in stylishly-cool fashion. The highly limited case unlocked to a jaw-dropping world of T90 heaven. It was impossible not to be impressed at the level of detail from the T90 USB key to the blue-print design sheets. 
PUMA King 'Luxury Edition' Presentation Case - Our most recent edition to the SoccerBible showroom, The PUMA King 'Luxury Edition' Presentation Case was a classy home for a classy boot. Football boot royalty needed its palace and PUMA delivered with stylish black casing, gold cut-away details and a mirrored gold inside. The overall effect was that of style and class but with a modern twist which basically sums up today's PUMA King football boot.
adidas Predator LZ Presentation Case - No expense was spared to launch the adidas Predator Lethal Zones, and after an impressive launch event adidas gave us one more reminder of what the Pred LZ was all about, with a stunning presentation case complete with SoccerBible personalised football boots. A pentagonal display case, five sides for the 5 Lethal Zones and 'Unleash Deadly' emblazoned across the front the presentation case made an immediate statement. Closer inspection revealed a very classy touch from adidas, who personalised both boots @SoccerBible #Unleash.
Nike Tiempo 94 Limited Edition Presentation Box - Nike launched these Special Edition Tiempo 94 football boots inspired by the original Nike Tiempo worn during the 1994 World Cup by footballing legend Maldini. We were lucky enough to receive this wooden chest containing pair 0001 of 1994, the ultimate collectors edition of this iconic boot. The boots fit snugly into a drawer that slides out of the main box, which has gold Tiempo 94 logos and the desireable "Limited Edition 0001" pair inscription. On the side of the box is also a paragraph intended to highlighting the passion and heritage this boot has to offer.
Nike Mercurial CR Presentation Case - The headline piece of Cristiano Ronaldo's exclusive collection, the CR Mercurial Vapor VIII wasn't short of attention when launched in November last year. But in amongst the madness of the launch in typical Nike fashion, the boots were given their very own super slick presentation case. Housed in a pristine box that slid open to reveal Ronaldo's latest statement design, the case was simple, bold and stylish.
adidas Predator PowerPulse Presentation Case - The oldest case in this collection the adidas Predator PowerPulse was released nearly ten years ago in 2004. adidas designed these boots especially for David Beckham and only released 723 individually numbered pairs. With them came this classic presentation case which featured a mahogany box that opened out to reveal two chambers, one for each boot, lined with red and silver velvet. Images of Beckham were printed onto the coloured perspex windows and a book with the motto "Strength in Silence" printed on the side was included. An oldie but a goodie. 
adidas f50 adizero Messi Digital Presentation Case - We've saved the best to last with this one, the insanely cool adidas f50 adizero Messi Digital Presentation Case . This was one good looking box! Branded with Messi s logo, the case opens to adidas Team Messi mantra. Football is supposed to be fun… but most impressively, when we opened the box a video of Messi tearing things up began to play! Beneath the panel. Messi's signature f50 adizero boots, nestled nicely into some artificial turf, sat alongside four miniature Ballon d'Or trophies recognising the Barca superstars record breaking achievement.
