Messi to wear exclusive enlightened edition of his signature F50.
All of adidas' Champions League players will be laced up in the new Enlightened Pack this week, all of them but one. Leo Messi will wear an exclusive enlightened version of his signature F50 Messi boots as Barcelona travel to the San Siro to take on AC Milan.
The world's greatest player has been hooked up with a custom pair of his exclusive boots, which have been tweaked to include the reflective technology found on the Enlightened Pack. Messi's unique F50's usually feature black stripes on the instep but for the tie in the Italian capital they'll be replaced with the new reflective exposure innovation.

Reflective laces also feature on the Messi F50 to cap off the Enlightened look to tie in with the rest of adidas' athletes, not that he really needs any extra help lighting up pitches. Unlike the rest of the Enlightened Pack the Messi F50 will not hit the shelves and will be worn for just one game by the man himself. 
Messi, along with Xavi and Dani Alves, gave us a sneak peak of their Enlightened boots during a Barcelona training session on the San Siro pitch yesterday afternoon, but it's tonight when we'll see the full effect of the Enlightened Pack as the collection captures and rebounds the light of floodlights and cameras.
