Part two of our exclusive three part mini-series. We speak to the German international about life at Arsenal.

After signing with adidas in the summer, Mesut Özil went on to make his second big move of the year, swapping La Liga for the Premier League and Arsenal in a record-breaking transfer. Now a fully-fledged Gunner, Özil is enjoying his new life in London and is ready help end Arsenal's long hunt for a major trophy.

We recently sat down with the Arsenal midfielder for an exclusive chat. In part two of our three part mini-series, we discuss his move to England's capital, why he chose Arsenal and how he's settling into life at his new club.

Following a three year spell at Real Madrid where he established himself as one of the world's finest creative midfielders, Özil is now part of an exciting Arsenal team that are enjoying their most successful start to a season in recent years. "I chose to go to Arsenal to develop myself further. As a player you always want to develop yourself further and you always want to be better."

"I've felt very comfortable from the beginning because the atmosphere is similar to the one in my family. Everybody is supporting each other and you feel comfortable straight away. In the team you can easily adapt because the team is very driven. They want to play football and they want to have fun. That's why we fit perfectly together."

At Arsenal Özil lines up alongside a wealth of creative midfield talent. Santi Cazorla, Jack Wilshere, Tomas Rosicky, Aaron Ramsey, Mikel Arteta and Mathieu Flamini make up one of the strongest midfield line-ups in the Premier League. "The team is like a jigsaw puzzle, everything has to fit. As you can see with Arsenal there are a lot of good players and we work well as a team."

Under Arsene Wenger Özil is confident that he can continue his development and help to bring success to Arsenal. "Arsene Wenger knows what he wants and prepares the team very well because of the experience he brings with him. He is one of the best coaches in the world. We have a young team and we want to be successful and develop further."

Stay tuned for part three of our exclusive chat with Mesut Özil where he talks about his background as a midfielder and life as one of the today's best play-makers.
