We remember one of the Precision's best looking colourways.

Our weekly trip down memory lane once again leads to the adidas Predator silo, this time in the form of the adidas Predator Precision Blue edition. Released in its original colourway during EURO 2000, the Precision took over from the much loved Accelerator. Today they're considered one of adidas' finest Predator models.

Combining various technological advances, the Precision was the first Predator boot to make the transition from rubber fins to thinner, more frequent ribs which increased the spin that could be put on the ball. The overall design of Predator Precision was once again completely unique to any model that had previously been released.

The adidas Predator Precision also had a fold-over tongue that covered the laces and attached with Velcro. Another innovative addition were the exchangeable Traxion studs, a merge of standard exchangeable studs and the Predator and Traxion technologies.

Adidas continued their trend of releasing a new Predator in an international championship year by launching the Precision in line with EURO 2000. The boots though will forever be remembered for David Beckham's last minute freekick against Greece that secured England's place in the 2002 World Cup. The England captain was wearing the White/Silver Champions League editions when he marked his most iconic England moment.

How highly do you rate the Precision compared to other Predator models?
