Extending their World Cup inspired colourways to the small sided game, adidas have dropped some South American flavour across the Freefootball range of Futsal shoes. The Topsala, Speedtrick and X-ite have all been given bright Samba inspired paint jobs that celebrate Brazil, the country where it all began.

Played by more people than football in Brazil, Futsal was developed in Brazil and Uruguay in the 1930s and 1940s due to a lack of available football pitches. So it's only fitting that whilst adidas are updating all of their silo's with Samba inspired colourways in the build up to the World Cup, they include their Futsal range too.

The adidas Freefootball range took over from the German brands adi5 range earlier this year and consists of three top end boots, the Topsala, the Speetrick and the X-ite. Each shoe comes with its own individual design aesthetic and performance features that create a range to suit all surfaces for whichever version of the game you play.

The adidas Freefootball Topsala is the newest incarnation of the classic adidas' Sala shoe. They come in two colourways; Slime/Black/Glow and Orange/White/Purple and feature a HYBRIDTOUCH upper as seen on the new F50. HYBRIDTOUCH is a super soft high performance material designed for use in all weather conditions, making the shoes usable both indoors and out.

Designed solely for indoor use , the adidas Freefootball Speedtrick is a more lightweight shoe. Just like the Topsala the boot comes in two new colorways; Blue/White/Slime and Zest/White/Pink. The Speedtrick's most stand out feature is the two-layer air mesh and synthetic upper that not only allows for maximum breathability and weight reduction but also aids to the loudest design in the Freefootball the range.

The adidas Freefootball X-ite is mainly for outdoor use and features a leather-like robust synthetic upper with a 3D Pass Pad that aids control. The X-ite also offer the biggest range of colourways with four different options. Continuing the Samba theme are the Blue/Slime/Blue and Berry/White/Slime colourways but there are also complete blackout and Black/Solar Zest editions for those who would rather tone it down a bit.

The new adidas Freefootball range is available from selected online retailers including Pro-Direct Soccer
