Nike Launch 'Pro Hypercool 3.0' Base Layer
Cooling base layer launched by Nike to battle Brazilian heat. 
There's no denying summer in Brazil is going to be hot. During the World Cup players could face 90 minutes games in 29°C (84.2°F) heat, 80 percent humidity and sun so intense it can melt paint. To combat this Nike have created the Nike Pro Hypercool 3.0 - their most innovative cooling baselayer system to date.
As well as their cutting edge national team kits each of the ten Nike Federations competing in June and July will have access to the innovative Hypercool 3.0 baselayer system that has been launched with the help of Cristiano Ronaldo, Neymar Jr, Blaise Matuidi, Kevin Strootman, Clint Dempsey and Ki Sung Yueng.

"For 2014, we redesigned the entire base layer system for all Nike Federations," said Martin Lotti, Creative Director, Nike Football. "While in Brasil, our players will potentially face high temperatures so we've created multiple features to increase breathability."

"The Nike Pro Hypercool 3.0 short is our lightest and most breathable base layer ever. It features a burnt-out mesh design that reduces weight by removing fabric in the key body heat zones, like the back and under the arms, as well as adding breathability. Combined with the new National Team Kits, the overall kit is 16% lighter than previous designs."
Players will have a variety of Nike Pro baselayer styles for players to choose from. These are designed for the varying temperatures and conditions athletes will encounter in Brasil, which are expected to vary from high heat during mid-day matches, to much colder temperatures in the southern match locations during evening games.
The New Nike Pro HyperCool 3.0 Baselayer will be available from selected stockists including Pro-Direct Soccer.
