Time to tidy up your CV. Nike have had plans approved to expand their World Headquarters in Beaverton, Oregon to accommodate an extra 3,700 employees.
Nike announced that they were planning to increase the size of their Beaverton home in November and now the plans have been approved. The development will see Nike claim almost 1.4 million square feet of extra office space set over two brand new office buildings.
The approval for the expansion comes with the condition that several major road and transportation improvements must be made to deal with the increased traffic flow surrounding the area. Nike have yet to reveal the specific roles and departments that they'll be recuriting for, but if you are one of the near 4,000 lucky people to land a new job with the Swoosh, try not to leave them for adidas, they really don't like that.
