Mixing two passions in seamless fashion, the latest music video from Bill Ryder-Jones is adidas laden, five-a-side heavy and retro kit glory. Not to mention a strong track to underline it all.
An Everton fan, the video see's two teams go toe-to-toe on an indoor court of gloomy proportions. That toffee coloured floor befitting, it see's Bill's team don a blue mish mash of retro kits up against an opposing team in equally iconic shirts from years gone by.
Like a typical mid-week five-a-side there's an uncoordinated look that see's AC Milan shorts accompanying an Argentina away shirt, naturally. With tackles flying in, shots smacking back off a leisure centre wall its quintessentially British. We shan't be warming up here and if we do it usually means smack it towards the goal. A tastefully football loving video it's a mighty fine medium in support of a track that warms with melancholic chimes. A timeless gem.
