Nike Pay Tribute To Abby Wambach

Nike commemorate Abby Wambach with a short video as the U.S. soccer legend hangs up her boots after a record-breaking career.

This week the defining face of US women’s soccer checked in for her final match. On Wednesday night in New Orleans, Abby Wambach captained the women’s national team for an exhibition game at the Superdome against China, the last game of her playing career, and rather unfittingly, the first home defeat for world champions in more than 10 years (USA 0-1 China). In tribute, Nike have released a short video featuring her teammates who provide insight into the forward’s legacy and the role she has played — both on and off the field.

Some description

Over the past 14 years, as a member of the U.S. Women’s National Team, Wambach capped 253 international matches, scored 184 goals, collected two gold medals and won one world championship.
