PSG Want M.I.A. To Pull 'Borders' Video

Paris Saint-Germain have written a letter to M.I.A. after the pop artist wore an altered version of the club’s shirt in one of her music videos.

M.I.A is an artist of powerful means. Her latest video for the track 'Borders' see's a customised PSG shirt make the cut - much to the discord of the mega-rich club. The video criticises the treatment of refugees and uses a customised PSG shirt to convey some additional messaging, changing the sponsor from 'Fly Emirates' to 'Fly Pirates'.

The club have in turn written to the artists management outlining their disappointment in the way the shirt has featured, shortly before talking about the club's "remarkably impressive track record" and their footballing honours - something M.I.A. probably couldn't care any less about. Nevertheless the letter does note the much commended work that the club have done in providing aid for refugees.

Whether legal action will follow is up in the air though it has been suggested in the letter from the club. Regardless, football is a game that has the ability to speak far louder than any political broadcast - this coming together benig a prime example.
