LA Galaxy joined the MLS 2018 replica party in style last night after they unveiled their new home strip for the upcoming campaign. Throwing on an exclusive launch event for season ticket holders, the new jersey was unveiled by current and former players at The Novo in Downtown Los Angeles.

Legendary club players including Cobi Jones, Mauricio Cienfuegos, Kevin Hartman, Carlos Ruiz, Alexi Lalas and Mike Magee were joined by members of the 2018 LA Galaxy squad as the new 2018 primary jersey was flaunted for the first time in front of the club's most loyal supporters. The club also rounded up their former players along with some heroic fans for a 'Since 96' Lookbook shot by Hana Asano – the shoot saw the club flex their history muscles by showcasing some of their retro shirts. Must be a new club in town...

The shirt sees the return of the traditional LA Galaxy sash, with a bold navy sash enclosed by a thin, gold sash on each side. The signature “This Is LA” jock tag returns, as does “Galaxy” just below the back neckline, complete with a quasar. Over the heart, the golden star at the top of the crest represents LA Galaxy’s five MLS Cup wins, the only club in MLS to rep such a feature.

Galaxy will wear the new strip in their season opener on March 5 when they host Portland Timbers.
