Arsenal full back Hector Bellerin and four-time F1 World Champion Lewis Hamilton were in the PUMA house this week to launch the SS18 collection and Ignite Flash evoKNIT shoe.
Two of the brand's most relevant and style-concious personalities met up to challenge each other to a low-intensity circuit of box jumps, battle ropes and Muay Thai boxing before taking to the rooftop of the Old Truman Brewery to talk about the meaning of their tattoos.
Both Bellerin and Hamilton are key influencers across their own sports and in wider lifestyle environments, and each play their part as PUMA continue to make waves with their fashion-led vibes away from the sporting fields of play. The respect and admiration was clearly mutual between the two.
Lewis Hamilton said: "Training is one of the most important aspects of my life. Being amongst the world's fastest like Héctor means I'm hustling 24/7, it’s great to meet guys from the PUMA family to see if there’s anything that we can learn from each other and exchange tips to become even better athletes."
Hector Bellerín batted back the compliments by adding; "It was cool to hang with Lewis today and hear how he trains, he’s in great shape. Given the length of a 50-60 lap race, he was telling me how his V02 max (maximal aerobic capacity) is similar to a Premier League footballer."
Lewis Hamilton and Hector Bellerín shared their training tips at a performance men’s training event for IGNITEFLASH evoKNIT. Shop the collection at PUMA.com
