As Russia prepare to welcome the world this week, last minute preparations are appearing right across each host city. None more so than in Moscow where local street artist Sergey Erofeev has whipped up a mural depicting Argentina's nifty little frontman Lionel Messi.

Erofeev used the side of a residential building in Bronnitsy, south east of the capital, as his canvas for creativity and went to work on producing a fine tribute to a player that arrives in Russia with expectations as big the mural on which he features. Argentina kick off their 2018 World Cup campaign in Moscow on Saturday 16th June when they play Iceland at Spartak Moscow's Otkrytie Arena.

Cheer up, Sergey. It's pretty good that, pal.
