Zlatan Ibrahimović gave ice hockey fans the honour of his presence last night as the LA Galaxy striker dropped the ceremonial first put ahead of the LA Kings NHL clash with New York Islanders at the Staples Center.
The big man got a warm reception from the crowd before kicking a football into the stands, without slipping, Zlatan doesn't do slipping. The Swede is embracing the American lifestyle and the sports scene in Los Angeles, which is no surprise considering his immense confidence and character that is clearly well suited to American Sports.
Zlatan was returning the favour as the full LA Kings squad witnessed his LA Galaxy this season in which he scored a brace in a 4-3 win over LAFC. The striker donned the relevant apparel to pose with the Kings squad and mascot Bailey the Lion, while the Kings players warmed up in LA Galaxy jerseys.
