Jari Litmanen Receives Career Mash-Up Shirt

One of Finland’s greatest exports, Jari Litmanen, has been presented with a special career mash-up jersey, which combines shirts from the three biggest clubs that he played for.

Created by football kit customiser @bloodin_blood0ut the shirt features the Ajax 1994-95 away shirt, the Liverpool 01-02 home shirt, and the Barcelona home shirt from the year 2000.

Widely regarded as Finland’s greatest forward of all time, Litmanen enjoyed a glittering career that spanned 24 years. Despite injury preventing him from ever reaching the heights of 1994/95 he ended his career with numerous league titles to his name as well a Champions League medal.

The shirt takes the upper of the Ajax shirt, the club with which Litmanen enjoyed the most success, the midriff of Liverpool and 'Carlsberg' sponsor, and the lower section from Barcelona.

Blood In Blood Out have been knocking it out of the park with their mash-ups recently, with this effort following Wesley Sneijder's Dutch shirt mash-up that marked his retirement from international football back in September.
