10 Things You Might Have Missed This Week – 14/12/18

Ending the working week with the pick of the weird and random that helped get us through it. Away from the goals, points and analysis overload there's a bunch of more interesting stuff going on in this game we call football. Here are 10 things you might have missed this week...

Terrace Life – Justin's House Barmy Army in full swing here with CBeebies demonstrating how safe standing can bring an atmosphere. Imagine the hostility in this place for Nickelodeon away – Flares, tifos and pints (of Capri Sun) on the terraces just like the good old days. Might even pull out the Poznan. Place will be bouncing.

Family Affair – Taking sibling rivalry to new levels as West Brom welcomed Aston Villa to the Hawthorns last Friday night.

Fiery Rivalry – Either Oscar Ruggeri is an extremely positive person or he genuinely got away with lightly. The fact that the game was played on a different continent because of crowd trouble probably means it's the latter.

The Beautiful Game – The cameras captured a heartwarming moment in the week as blind Liverpool fan Mike Kearney celebrated Mo Salah's winner against Napoli after his cousin told him who scored.

Mo way – Just another Liverpool fan trying and failing to play it cool when they walk past the Egyptian King.

All downhill – Not sure what would have hurt more: the fact it hit the post or the fact he had to go and get it to climb back up that hill for another go.

Hard Twerk – Oh this? Just the MLS Cup on stage in Atlanta's famous strip club Magic City a matter of hours after the MLS side lifted it by beating Portland Timbers at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

Out In A Flash Gordon – The Celtic stopper went full Karius as his side crashed out of the Europa League on Thursday night.

Face the Facts – Is poking fun at Phil Jones' game face the lowest form of football comedy? Yes. Does it stop anyone? No. Still, Jones got the last laugh as United progressed to the Champions League knockout stages as Valencia take the Europa League turn.

Custom Colourway – Bit of early Boot Spotting here as West Ham United's Lucas Perez took customisation into his own hands by whipping up a "Red/Volt" design on his Nike Mercurial Vapor XII.

Enjoy the weekend. Here's to three points and all that...
