10 Things You Might Have Missed This Week – 17/05/19

Tottenham’s Son Heung-Min is a nice guy. Fact. That’s proved as part of 10 things that you might have missed this week from the world of football, which also includes the explanation behind Phil Jones’s horrified expressions. But where better to start than with that man, our man, our leader Sir Michael Dean.

Mike Beam – Tranmere fan Mike Dean wasn't just there for his side's play-off success at Forest Green. He was there there. He was Six cans of Stella and a scuffle behind the Kop with some proper naughty geezers, there. Someone photoshop some Stone Island patches on him immediately.

One More Then – We've all been there, right? Go on then, just a half. Stumble home at 3am, shocking hangover, and a frosty Sunday atmosphere. "You knew we were going to mum's for lunch today."

Foul Throw – Got to admire the excellent levels of underhanded conduct used with the intention of gaining an advantage for their team here. AKA: shithousery of the finest order.

Shirt Happens – Huddersfield gave all their travelling supporters the new away shirt for the 2019/20 season. Probably the least they could do after their away record in the Premier League.

That's The Impression I Get – Season summary done. No more need for recaps.

Stick of What? – Gabriel Jesus with a face like someone has just stamped on his Guinea Pig and given it to him as a birthday present.

Go On My Son – In a way we're all Son Min-Hueng's children.

The Ruben Award – Neves running away with the award. Scored with two of those three touches in the box as well. OK, they were penalties, but still...

Pay The Penalty – Should've taken one and all. Watch any keeper fall to pieces staring hypnotically into those plastic eyes of a stone-cold killer.

Kun Kiss – Warms the heart this one.

You Big Jesse – Now all those horrified faces that Phil Jones does start to make sense...

It's Black and White – Nice to see the heritage of the Turin club just put to one side because Americans can't tell the difference between two types of shirts. Lucky they didn't opt for horizontal stripes – they'd think they were all convicts. Any truth in it? Unconfirmed.

Touch Of Class – Ending on a fantastic story, with a brilliant initiative that sees old football shirts transformed in to hospital gowns for ill children. Superb idea.

And that's your lot. Have a good weekend and keep doing weird stuff so we can fill this up again next week, yeah?
