10 Things You Might Have Missed This Week – 02/08/19

The new season is almost upon us, and to whittle away the last little bit of time, we’ve got ten things that you might have missed from the world of football, including some absolute wizardry from Pedro, and some of the best improvisation we’ve ever seen in the game. Football is well weird sometimes, and we love it.

Outrageous – Pedro took his attempts to impress new manager, Frank Lampard to new levels this week.

Kakakaka – Good to see that the Kaka Cloning programme is finally paying dividends.

Easy Mistake To Make – Come on, we've all done it when we're checking the latest transfer headlines, right?

Death Wish – This guy either a) is incredibly brave, b) is incredibly stupid, c) has a bet on.

P-ref-essional – Got to applaud the improvisation on display here. Never a pen though. Where's VAR when you need it?

Tekkers – Rooney showing that he's still got what it takes as he continues to push for a fourth season of 'Street Striker'.

All You Need Is Pie – Earlier this year, Wigan announced a competition to invent a new mascot. "Ideas will be judged on their creativity, and how well they represent Wigan Athletic," the rules stated. Say hello to Crusty the Pie.

Skins or Shirts? – We all know that footy shirts are pricey these days, so hats off to this guy for getting round it.

Kicked While You're Down – Fenerbahce captain Nabil Dirar tried to walk off the pitch after his own fans booed him so much in their match against Bayern Munich recently. To be fair, they were losing 6-1 at the time.

That'll Cost-ya – You just don't F*** with Diego Costa. Or any of his teammates.

And that's your lot. Have a good 'un.
