PUMA have opened the doors to their very first North American flagship store today, in a move of significant presence and style. The store, located on Fifth Avenue in New York City is a 18,000 square foot showroom spread over two floors as PUMA go big on their debut NYC appearance.
Filled with immersive brand experience, customisation studio and 'sports engagement zones' where customers can play NBA 2K and F1 games, the store celebrates multiple sporting categories including soccer, gold, running, streetwear and lifestyle sections. Going further than just selling the latest products the space also features a PUMA x YOU studio where customers can customise their purchases with 3D-knitted tech, dyes and laser printing – whether that's footwear, apparel or accessories.
The key football feature is a simulator for testing football boots: The ‘Magic Mirrors’ allow customers to find alternate suggestions and sign up for in-store events. The new flagship store will also double-up as an event space to allow the brand to increase their presence in the American market; the store will host a series of events specific to New York City, kicking off with grand opening celebrations during store hours throughout this weekend. It's huge, it's cutting-edge and it's a consumer experience that will increase the brand's market share in one of the world's most influential cities.
