EA Sports Host The FIFA 20 World Premiere In London

EA Sports rolled out the red carpet on Wednesday night as they hosted the FIFA 20 World Premiere In London. One of the most anticipated dates on the gaming calendar, with added hype this year in the form of the new Volta Football feature. A who's who of Premier League talent, the Volta global finals and Major Lazer wrapping things up.

Moving into a new decade of virtual football EA Sports put on an epic display on the banks of the River Thames as a star-studded guest list filled a strobe-lit playground of arcade football. Legends of the game in Ian Wright and Kaka led a talented line-up of Premier League players through the red carpet and into an arena of electric hype.

Celebrating a fresh wave of home-grown ballers, the likes of Jadon Sancho, Callum Hudson-Odoi, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Rhian Brewster, Tammy Abraham, James Maddison & Jack Grealish were all in town to get a first taste of the new game and challenge their ratings.

As a nod to the new Volta Football feature in the game EA Sports held a cage tournament that saw teams from all over world represent their county in a showcase of freestyling fire and pulsating pace. Tempers were lost, nutmegs were had, bragging rights were secured as the Brazilian side from Rio de Janeiro beat the boys and girls of Amsterdam to receive the trophy from Kaka and Wright.

Players roamed around the online streaming stations and console platforms taking on each other, media and fans, while some of the most decorated freestylers from all over the world tried to humiliate one another in the intense one-on-one panna cage. Bringing the curtain down on a landmark night for the legendary game Major Lazer took to the stage to cap an evening that spammed your timeline with FIFA fire.
