Rounding off their 2019/20 wardrobe in style, Spurs unveiled their 90s-inspired third kit at an exclusive launch event in the Tottenham Experience megastore in their new stadium. In partnership with EA Sports and Nike, the event saw players from the men’s and women’s team in the new shirt, before offering guests the chance to be one of the first to get their hands on one themselves.
Tottenham launched their third kit for the 2019/20 campaign at a special event hosted at the Tottenham Experience megastore, located within their stadium, and as they don’t seem to be using them on pitch all that much at the moment, they wheeled out Lucas Moura and Juan Foyth for the occasion, suitably dressed in the new shirt. They were joined by Lucy Quinn and Hannah Godfrey from the newly promoted women’s team ahead of their big WSL season opener this weekend against Chelsea, a match which is set to be played at Stamford Bridge.
Hosted by Craig Mitch, the event was held in collaboration with EA Sports, and it saw a huge screen set up for the players to have a go on a demo of the soon-to-be-released FIFA 20, which featured Spurs in their new kit. Guests were then able to have a go, just, you know, when Lucas and Juan were done. Club ambassador, Ledley King made an appearance, again adorned in the new shirt, and he was able to muscle his way in to have a go on the new game also.
Tottenham will debut the new third kit, which features a ‘Spurs’ graphic running throughout along with an elevated trim and Nike ‘Futura’ logo, later this month when their European campaign begins.
